Building Your Network Marketing Business.

Remember everybody is not your prospect. You do not want to bother eveybody in
the grocery store or at the bank, or even while you are out having dinner with a loved
one. You want people who want what you are selling and come looking for you. Wheter
they are looking to buy product or want a chance at your business opportunity, you
only want to spend your time on people who already show, they want what you have.

You want to build your home party plan business (your recruits as they are sometimes
called), with people who want to run a network marketing business, who are actively
looking for a network marketing business and are ready to put in the time and effort it
takes to build a business. Not the poor shmuck who you badgered into joining, even
though you knew they would never do anything with the business once they put in
their business application.

Why would you want this person on your team? They will take up your valuable time,
even if it is only for a couple of months, but, that is a couple of months you will work
with someone you know really has no business savy and will probably drop out within
three months.


Don't Recruit Just Anyone For Your Business Opportunity!

Why expend valuable time and energy trying to force-feed your opportunity down the
throat of someone who’s entirely indifferent? Why do that when there are millions of
people who actually do want to start their own network marketing business? The ones
who warrant your attention are the ones who take the initiative and go out of there
way to find out how to do it. These people are your prospects.

Some people have no desire what so ever to own their own business. Some people
actually love their jobs and could never even imagine leaving where they work. Some
people despise multi level marketing and would rather have a tooth pulled than be
associated with an mlm. Some people are afraid of risks or trying anything new. Some
people are not cut out to be entrepreneurs and are better off staying at the job they
are are at right now. Some people do not have the funds to really make a go of a business,
so, why would you want to try and get these people to join your team? These people
are not your propospects and you don't want them on your team.

I am not sure if Avon has this up and running but, you can run your own party if you have
your own website. All you need to do is gather the people, point them in the right direction

How To Get People To Come To Your Online Party.

As a hostess, deciding to have an online party is a very smart one especially when it is
difficult to get your friends and family together in your home for an in home party. But how
do you get people to come to your online party once you have chosen a date, a place and a
time for your party?


Tell your friends and tell them to tell their friends.

You should be sure to tell all your friends and family about your online party. Send out
emails that give them the time and the URL of the website where your party is going to be
held and be sure to let them know how very excited you are about the party and how happy
they will be if they decide to stop by. Evite.com is a great site to utilize to send online party
invitations. If there are going to be any specials on certain products or free shipping or
anything being given away, be sure to let them know at that time.

Think of the mothers, many have to pick up kids, feed the family and the work at home
moms have a business to run. So, make your online party a time that will not interfere with
those busy times that moms all have to deal with. Usually you can pick a time when the kids
are in school, or a time later when all are fed and watching TV and mom can get away to buy

get away for a little time to pamper them-selves.

Find out what will get your hostess excited to have a party. Sometimes it may be free
product, maybe it is a discount on everything she wants to buy. Almost all companies have
hostess gifts that they offer to their consultants, find out if your hostess would like what is
being offered by the company. I know from experience I always have leftover hostess gifts,
so, I go with my arms loaded when meeting with the hostess and offer her many different
items to choose from. Once you find what will excite her, it will be easy for you to get her to
be excited about getting her friends to her party as she will want to receive the hostess gift
or gifts.

Everyone loves toget a special deal on something they plan on buying -- and who doesn’t
love having a chance to get something for free?


Advertise.

Advertise your party wherever possible online. Take the time to find great places to
advertise your upcoming online party. Make sure to pay attention to the posting rules in the
sites you are looking to place an advertisement. You do not want to be accused of spamming.
Think about blogs, forums, MySpace, YouTube, community service organization, etc. Forums
for moms or for work at home moms (WAHM) are excellent places to start advertising your
online party. Later I will talk more about using different online venues to your advantage.


Have Fun.


Make sure to really share your enthusiasm about your upcoming online party. If you
are excited about the party and the products that are being offered, then it is very likely
that you will get others interested and excited too.

These are just a few ideas that you can use in order to get people to attend your online
party. Remember to follow up with last minute reminders and you are sure to have a
fun and hopefully very profitable online party.

simple way just to meet other people if that is all you are looking for. It is your business,
you decide why you want to be in business.

It is your home party plan business and you can decide why you started it and how you
want to run it. Just always remember this is a business and if you want to be successful
in "Your Business", you will have to do the work to make it successful! Work at home
moms will have to learn to balance the family with business, but make no mistake, treat
it like a business or you will fail.

You do not have to follow these steps exactly, It will not matter much if you do step 4 first
or step 1, just know, these are the things you will want to accomplish as you start your own
home party plan business. All the companies I have mentioned, Mary Kay, Arbonne and
Avon all do things a little different and so can you. It is your business and work it any way
you want to.







































Step One: Do Your Research.

This is probably the biggest part of finding this website. I hope to reduce the amount of
research you have to do. I have spent a lot of time reading and researching websites
and books on multi level marketing, home business start ups, the cosmetic industry,
website building, home party plans, network marketing, work at home moms, etc.,
and tried to bring it all here together in one space to help you build your business.

I will try to condense all your reading time by me sharing all the research I have found on
how to make a network marketing business work. You can truly research your business to
death! Trust me, I think I may have done that once or twice, and I don't want you to have
to go through that. I have spent months and months, reading, researching, and then reading
some more. Your time could be better used in building your home party plan business then in
just reading about building a business. I want you to start your home party plan business
as soon as possible.


Step Two: Pick A Company You Trust And A Product You Love!

Have you every used a product for a long time and just loved everything about it?
You know everything about this product line. This is the product you should look into selling.
If you love what you are selling people can tell that. It is very hard to get people to believe
you as a sales person if you don't love your own product. Mom, go through your cabinets,
what products do you love, do they have a home party plan business setup? If they do, go for it.

Can be a fountain of information. Most have been doing this for many years. Some of what
they tell you may be out dated and you may just want to ignore it but they have many
women under them that have just started out and can share some great stuff with you.
You have to find your comfort level. What are you willing to try and what am I just not
comfortable doing. Over time your comfort level will increase and you will be willing to try
things you were not in the very beginning.


Step Four: Start A Seperate Bank Account For Your Business.

You have to be able to seperate your personal money from the business money, not only
will this save you when tax time comes around, this will just make book keeping much
easier. You don't need to start a business account as that will cost you a lot more money.
They will let you open a personal account for your small business, if not find a new bank.


Step Five: Start Building Your Home Party Plan Business.

This after all is what you are working towards right? Well, no better time then the
present to get out there and start building your home party plan business, time to
start meeting people and building that network marketing business. But, you just told
me not to do things like my upline! True, but there is still foot work to be done, people
to meet and products to show. But do it smarter then the others. Don't run around all
day trying to meet everybody you see.

You need to have people all ready lined up who want you to come and see them. People
who have called you or emailed you and asked you to come out and host a party for them.

You want people who want to join your team and have called you and asked you how to
start a Home Party Plan Business different from how the others have tried. You want people
searching out your name and number and coming to you for advice. That is how you build
a real network marketing business. These are the people you want to spend your time on,
because they have already let you know, they want what you have, their own Home Party
Plan Business.

Take Care of Your Skin!

You are Never Too Young to Take Care of Your Skin!
One of the questions that I get asked most frequently is the question of “how young is too young to start a skin care regimen?”. The answer is not always exact and will vary from child to child and may be different for boys than for girls.

It used to be generally understood that the time in which a child experiences the first signs of puberty is the appropriate time to start a good skin care regimen. That was always very cut and dry because by the time the signs of puberty started for both boys and girls, it was somewhere around the age of 12 or 13 and the child was mature enough to be responsible with a daily skin care regimen. According to a report by the American Academy of Pediatrics, the average age that a child hits puberty is dramatically younger than it was when we were kids and in some cases, can begin as early as 8 years old.

Even though the age that a child hits puberty has decreased, the basic rule still applies…when a child begins to show the first signs of puberty, some form of skin care should be started to help deal with the external symptoms of these hormonal fluctuations. Here is a good guideline for recommending product to children and teens:


From the ages of 8-10 years old, good cleansing and moisturizing habits can be established. I would recommend the Skinlogics Sensitive Cleanser and the Cell Block C AM to keep the skin cleansed, moisturized and protected. This age is too young for a complicated regimen and should not include more harsh products such as exfoliants, etc.
At the onset of puberty, both boys and girls may experience blackheads or moderate acne breakouts. At this time, I would recommend that you move them up to a more complete regimen that would include the Skinlogics Clear cleanser and scrub/mask to help with the blackheads and occasional breakouts, along with the Skinlogics 20s tonic (because it is more gentle than the Skinlogics Clear tonic) and the Cell Block C AM.
When the moderate and occasional breakouts develop into more severe and constant acne, I would recommend stepping up to the complete Skinlogics Clear line consisting of cleanser, tonic, moisturizer and scrub/mask. I would recommend the Cell Block C AM after the skin has adjusted to a basic regimen so as not to add too many products to the skin initially.
Not only do we want to teach our children how to properly cleanse and maintain their skin and start on effective skin care regimen, starting good skin care habits at an early age, we want to encourage good preventive habits for our children in the process. If each of us at 40+ would have known the necessity of good preventive skin care at a young age, we would be see completely different faces looking back at us in the mirror every morning. Sun protection should begin from infancy and continue through a person’s lifetime. Daily facial sun protection should be considered as basic as brushing one’s teeth and washing their face.

One of my favorite quotes of all time comes from Coco Chanel. She said, “Nature gives you the face you have at 20. Life shapes the face you have at 30. But at 50, you get the face you deserve."

It is our responsibility as parent and skin care professionals to help our children understand the importance of good skin care habits and to transition them out of the bar soap and bubble baths and into a healthy skin care regimen that will stay with them for life.
